This policy explains what personal data we collect through hormonalathlete.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
The Hormonal Athlete is a documentary series produced by Growth Lab Marketing Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14847060, with a registered address at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
For the purposes of data protection law, Growth Lab Marketing Ltd is the data controller for this website.
You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@hormonalathlete.com.
Information you give us directly. If you use the contact form, we collect the name and email address you enter, along with any message you choose to send us. If you sign up for updates, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your first name.
We do not ask for any special category data, including health information, and we would ask you not to send it to us through the website. If you do include health information in a message to us, we will treat it in confidence and delete it once we have dealt with your enquiry.
Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server log data when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the time of your visit. This is generated automatically by the web server and is used to keep the site running and secure.
Analytics. We do not currently use any website analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Embedded video. Our video content is hosted on YouTube. We use a click to load player, which means YouTube receives no information about you unless you press play. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

Netlify and Google are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension.

Anyone who appears in the series is filmed with their knowledge and consent, and signs a separate release covering how their contribution may be used. That process sits outside this website policy. This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
