The Hormonal Athlete is a documentary series. It follows one person, training under the supervision of her own doctors, coaches and physiotherapist, and everything shown is specific to her: her physiology, her medical history, her test results, her circumstances.

Nothing on this website or in the associated video content is medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a recommendation of any kind. It is not a substitute for consulting a qualified doctor or other healthcare professional. It should not be used to decide anything about your own health, medication, hormone therapy, training, nutrition, or supplementation.

Specifically:

Contributors are not your clinicians. Doctors, coaches, physiotherapists and other specialists who appear in the series are speaking about one individual, in the context of a documentary, and often in edited form. They have not assessed you, they hold no clinical relationship with you, and their contributions must not be treated as guidance to you personally.
Protocols shown are individual. Training loads, testing schedules, nutrition, medication and hormone therapy are prescribed for one person by professionals who know her full history. Copying them may be ineffective or harmful.
Results are not typical or transferable. Any physiological data, test result or performance outcome shown is one person's, at one point in time.
Talk to a professional first. Always speak to your doctor before starting or changing any exercise programme, diet, supplement regime or medication, and particularly if you are pregnant, have any existing medical condition, or are taking prescribed medication.

All content on this site and in the series, including video, photography, written material, the brand name, logo and design, is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.

You may view the site, share links to it, and share our video content using the sharing tools provided by the platform it is hosted on.
